Somnath Banquet Hall was established in the year 1959, by the legendary Personality Mr J.R Mullick, in the loving memory of his father Late Somnath Mullick .The idea came into his mind, when he noticed that there is a dearth of marriage halls in Kolkata in those days. In those times people used to organize their wedding at their own terrace. at the beginning the Hall was Non-AC as time passed keeping the traditional decor the hall was gifted with Centralised AC.
